Los Angeles Arts District

The cool thing about Downtown Los Angeles is that you’ll find a lot of interesting art on walls especially in the Arts District. The art I am featuring on this post is located on Colyton St., a block away from one of my favorite restaurants in Downtown called Urth Caffé which is exactly where I had lunch today after these pictures were taken. What I like the most about this restaurant is that it offers a good selection of both vegetarian and vegan food. For those that don’t know, I’ve been vegetarian for the past four years. From drinks, their Spanish latte must be my favorite and from food, I really enjoy their waffles for breakfast and for lunch or dinner, their lasagna. As a vegetarian, I am a very picky eater and I find it hard to find tasty food. Urth Caffé has never disappointed me. As to my outfit, I thought a Star Wars graphic sweater would do for a chilly morning with black tall boots and black skinnies. When I saw Princess Leia next to The Global Angel Wings Project on Colyton St., I took it as a sign that I wore the right outfit.

Lo bueno del centro de Los Ángeles es que encontrarás un montón de arte interesante en las paredes, especialmente en el distrito de artes. El arte que estoy presentando en este artículo está situado en Colyton St., a una cuadra de uno de mis restaurantes favoritos en el centro de la ciudad llamado Urth Caffé, que es exactamente donde almuerce hoy después que estas fotos fueron tomadas. Lo que más me gusta de este restaurante es que ofrece una buena selección de comida vegetariana y vegana. Para los que no lo saben, he sido vegetariana durante los últimos cuatro años. De las bebidas, su latte español debe ser mi favorito y de la comida, realmente disfruto de sus gofres para el desayuno y para el almuerzo o la cena, su lasaña. Al ser vegetariana, soy muy exigente y se me hace difícil encontrar sabrosa comida. Urth Caffé nunca me ha decepcionado. En cuanto a mi ropa, pensé que un suéter gráfico de Star Wars haría por una mañana fría con botas altas negras y pantalones negros. Cuando vi a la Princesa Leia junto al The Global Angel Wings Project en Colyton St., lo tomé como una señal de que llevaba el atuendo adecuado.
