Early Spring

Early spring in Los Angeles can still be chilly at times. Or not if you’re used to harsh winters and then come to visit Los Angeles. You’ll probably think I am out of mind and won’t be needing a light coat or jacket on like I do. It is true that weather here is great almost all year round. There might still be some April showers though and after that, there probably won’t be any rain until late October.

For today’s outfit, I decided to pair up my kakhi coat with light blue jeans, black pointy heels, my Marc Jacobs handbag, and my Panic! at the Disco’s “Don’t Threaten Me with a Good Time” band t-shirt. Panic! at the Disco is one of my favorite bands and I was lucky enough to see them perform live last weekend in Las Vegas. They definitely know how to put on a good show. Other than this band t-shirt, I have many more in my closet. They are really easy to wear. You also can’t go wrong with a classic trench coat, jeans, and black heels. I truly believe every girl should have these fashion staples in their closet.

A principios de primavera en Los Ángeles, todavía puede ser un poco de frío a veces. O no, si tu estás acostumbrada/o a los inviernos duros y luego vienes de visita a Los Ángeles. Probablemente piensas que estoy fuera de mi mente y no necesitaras un abrigo o chaqueta ligera como yo. Es cierto que el clima aquí es estupendo casi todo el año. Todavía puede haber algunas lluvias de abril y después, probablemente no habrá lluvia hasta finales de octubre.

Para mi vestuario de hoy, decidí combinar mi abrigo kakhi con pantalones jeans de color azul claro, tacones puntiagudos negros, mi bolso Marc Jacobs y mi camisa de Panic! at the Disco “Don’t Threaten Me with a Good time.” Panic! at the Disco es una de mis bandas favoritas y tuve la suerte de ver unos de sus shows en vivo el fin de semana pasado en Las Vegas. Definitivamente saben cómo hacer un buen espectáculo. Aparte de esta camisa de la banda, tengo muchos más en mi armario. Son muy fáciles de usar. Tampoco puedes equivocarte con un trench coat clásico, jeans y tacones negros. Realmente creo que cada chica debe tener estos básicos de moda en su armario.

I hope you are ready for a whole new week. A new week always has a sense of a fresh start, so if there is something you’ve been wanting to work on and haven’t come around it, a Monday is always a good day to start! Not only that, this is the beginning of April as well. So get to it because summer will be here next before you know it.

Espero que estés lista/o para una nueva semana entera. ¡Una nueva semana siempre tiene la sensación de un nuevo comienzo, así que si hay algo que has estado deseando hacer y no has llegado a su alrededor, un lunes es siempre un buen día para empezar! No sólo eso, este es el comienzo de abril también. Así que empieza ya porque el verano estará aquí antes de que tu lo sepas.
