Monument Valley
This past three day weekend, I had the privilege of going on a road trip with family and friends. Our first stop was Monument Valley on Navajo lands in Utah. Monument Valley is a red sand desert with unique sand stone formations. We stayed at a cabin at The View with an incredible view. Waking up early in the morning on Saturday and seeing the sunrise is a moment I will never forget. This morning became even more memorable when horses began to approach the area by the cabins. After, we had breakfast at the restaurant by The View hotel right before we went horseback riding with Sacred Monument Tours. This was actually my first time horseback riding. Although I was a bit nervous, I am so glad I had this beautiful experience with my family and friends. Then, before we headed to our next stop Page, Arizona, we went to Forrest Gump Point where a scene from the movie Forrest Gump was filmed; Forrest Gump running across the United States. From this point, you can see the road heading towards Monument Valley, a beautiful sight.
Este pasado fin de semana de tres días, tuve el privilegio de tomar un viaje por carretera con mi familia y amigos. Nuestra primera parada fue Monument Valley en tierra Navajo situado en Utah. Monument Valley es un desierto de arena roja con formaciones únicas de piedra de arena. Nos alojamos en una cabaña en The View con una vista increíble. Al despertar temprano en la mañana el sábado y ver el amanecer es un momento que nunca olvidare. Esta mañana se hizo aún más memorable cuando caballos comenzaron a acercarse a la zona de las cabañas. Después, desayunamos en el restaurante al lado del hotel de The View, justo antes de que tuvimos una cabalgata de caballos con Sacred Monument Tours. Esta fue mi primera vez subirme a un caballo. A pesar de que estaba un poco nerviosa, estoy muy contenta de haber tenido esta hermosa experiencia con mi familia y amigos. Luego, antes de que nos dirigimos a nuestra próxima parada Page, Arizona, fuimos a Forrest Gump Point donde se filmó una escena de la película Forrest Gump; Forrest Gump haciendo un recorrido en los Estados Unidos. A partir de este punto, se puede ver la carretera que se dirige a Monument Valley, que es una vista hermosa.

Muchas gracias chica. <3 No estoy segura si eran salvajes o no. No se de donde vinieron esos caballos. :O Pero hicieron que mi experiencia fuera mas memorable y momentos perfectos para fotos. Monument Valley es muy bonito y tranquilo para relajarse. Recomiendo visitar este lugar. 😀

The desert and mountains look sooo beautiful . I can only imagine how peaceful and quiet it felt being there. And also how luminous the night sky can be there. You are one lucky girl <3
Katerina, Monument Valley is a really peaceful place with no light pollution which is great for seeing the stars just like you are imagining it. Don’t miss this place whenever you get the chance and I highly recommend watching either the sunrise or sunset. Thank you!
